Fr Jordan Greatbatch presided and preached at the 10am Mass, his first with us as Vicar. The Gospel reading was the account of the Transfiguration from Matthew 17: 1–9.

On Tuesday the 28th of February we welcomed out new Vicar Fr Jordan Greatbatch with a formal induction service. The service was led by Bishop Peter Carrell and Archdeacon Megan Herles-Mooar.
Bishop Peter delivered a sermon of advice, instruction, and encouragement with readings taken from Numbers 11:16, 17, 24–29, Ephesians 4:7–16, and Luke 12:35–44.
The service was also our first full run of our new live streaming system. We are very grateful for Grant Hadley who set the system up and sourced equipment for us.

Fr Peter Beck presided and Dr Imogen de la Bere preached at the 10am Mass. The sermon focused on the life of Fr Henry Darwin Burton, who initiated the Anglo-Catholic tradition at St Michael's and went on to found St Saviour's Church in St Albans, UK. The Gospel reading was taken from Matthew 5: 1-12.
